When our founder, Jilian Becker, was planning her own destination wedding in the Pocono Mountains back in 2016, she noticed a gap in the wedding industry in this pocket of the northeast. So, she decided to fill it.

After a decade-long career spanning entertainment and events at some of North America's largest brands (like Microsoft and Major League Soccer), Jilian launched We Do Events in 2018. Her varied experience with project management, design, and event production has helped her produce dozens of successful weddings since.

Jilian is the leader behind We Do Events. She created We Do Events after a decade-long career with some of America's biggest brands, including Microsoft and Major League Soccer. Over the past eight years, her team has planned and produced over 100 weddings. Jilian lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband, two young children, and dog. In the summers you can find their family at their cottage in the Pocono Mountains.

Since 8th grade, Paulina has been part of the hospitality industry in various service roles, spanning from server at El Vez to event planner for non-profits, restaurateurs, and corporate clients. She’s always had a penchant for planning events and bringing people together around food + milestones. Paulina lives in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia with her husband, toddler, and dog. When she’s not working, you can find her sipping on a pét-nat or perusing a vintage store.
